MM Ward

An Evening with M.M. Ward on Afterhours

Last Updated on by Michael Brockbank

On March 3rd, 2025, I am joined by M.M. Ward for a live interview on Afterhours. She’s led an interesting life and I am looking forward to having her on the show. As a Colorado local, it’s nice when everyone is in the same time zone.

M.M. Ward (Magie) has published quite a few books and is one of the few authors I’ve met who has an Inkitt account.

A Little About M.M. Ward

Magie is a stroke survivor but doesn’t let it slow her down. Although she can’t play games as much anymore, she still has the capacity to become quite the author in varying genres.

In fact, one of her books started as a fan fiction of Minecraft, which I’m looking forward to asking her about. I find it fascinating to hear how stories evolve into books. Kingmaker started as a serial based on Dungeons & Dragons until it turned into its own entity.

If you’d like to know more about Magie, you can check out her Blogspot page. Or, you can occasionally catch her on the live streams at WriterSanctuary as Penumbramine. She often visits when I go live with writing sprints or Afterhours on Monday nights.

Where Can You Find Her Books?

M.M. Ward currently has 40 books published on Amazon. Quite a few of them are free on certain platforms, so be sure to give them a read and leave her a review. That’s one of the most important thing any reader can do for a self-published author: leave a review of the book.

Not as many people do this as we would like. It’s one of the most vital ways you can support any author, really.

At the moment, Magie has set some of her books for free. They include:

  • The Huntsman’s Honor – Feb 25-28
  • Relic of Time and Prophecies Feb 28 – March 3
  • War of Prophecies – March 1-3
  • Ghost With Cats – March 1-3
  • How to Become a Crazy Cat Lady to Survive the Zombpocalyse – March 1-3

So, be sure to check them out as soon as you can.

You can pre-order the next in the Relic of Time War series, Darkness of the Devourer, which is released June 1, 2025.

You can also find the rough drafts of many stories on M.M. Ward’s Inkitt profile. There are 36 stories and counting with a lot of comments on her wall.

I kind of feel odd not doing more with my Inkitt profile. Then again, it’s difficult for me to scrounge up enough time for main projects let alone something on the side.

Nonetheless, I’m looking forward to seeing what she does next on Inkitt.

Hope to See You at the Show!

Join us at 7:00 pm (MTN) on WriterSanctuary’s YouTube channel for the live interview and feel free to bring your questions. This is sure to be a great evening and I have several questions I’m looking forward to asking.

This is especially true when it comes to gaming. It seems we have quite a bit in common in some of the titles we’ve played.

Thank you, Magie, for agreeing to be on the show. I’m looking forward to it!
