An Evening with J. Hieb on After Hours

Last Updated on by Michael Brockbank

On July 15th, I’ll be joined with J. Hieb on After Hours at 7:00 pm MTN for an interview. It’s sure to be a great evening, so make sure you mark your calendars, especially for those interested in children’s and Christian literature.

Publishing her first novel in 2019 (Breaking Seven), J. Hieb continued writing about humanity and the dark places it can travel as well as gaining redemption through Jesus. She also debuted writing children’s books with Ferdinand the Fox.

While writing her books, J. Hieb spends time with her many animals while living in the country. We’re talking ducks, chickens, dogs, turkeys, a cow…and I thought I had a lot of cats!

To be honest, it looks relatively fun. Then again, I love animals of all kinds.

A Little About Jessica

J. Hieb decided to use her passion to honor God while writing about the various facets of the human condition. And I can say that there is a lot of source material nowadays.

So many people have lost their way over the past several years.

Jessica also enjoys visual arts, such as painting and drawing. She’s a creative person in many areas, and you can check out some of her artwork as well as photos of her critter friends on her blog.

When she’s not writing, painting, or drawing, Jessica is part of ITNPublishing.com, a Christian outlet for books and audio, which includes the In The Name Publishing Presents: Book Club. It’s a relatively new podcast, but you can hear the latest episodes on the site.

If you want to connect, Jessica is active on:

Where Can You Find Her Books?

Currently, you can find J. Hieb’s books on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or when she posts books on the blog. If you’re looking for a fun book for your young one, Timothy the Turkey is a great one to consider with some great moral lessons.

You can also keep track of upcoming projects as Jessica updates the site. But for the moment, they seem to be mostly published on Amazon.

Unfortunately, I’m unable to find an author page on Amazon for Jessica. But not every author creates one.

Be Sure to Catch Us Live on Monday!

If you’re interested in Christian writing and children’s books, make sure you catch us live on the 15th at 7 pm MTN. Bring your questions along if you’d like to know more about Jessica, her publishing business, or the books she writes.

It’ll be a great evening, and we hope to see you there!
