Looking for Work

The Fluctuation of Work on Textbroker

Last Updated on by Michael Brockbank

When you do get a chance to write, make it as professional as possible. The more you make a client happy with the content, the more often he or she will use you directly. I have clients still that paid me more when I was a Level 3 than what the Level 4 writers make on Open Orders. If you can please a couple of clients to the point where they hand you work on a daily basis, then it doesn’t matter what level you are or what’s available in the open queue. The hard part is getting to that point.

Currently, I have two regular daily clients that send me work non-stop. I have been writing for one in particular for a year and a half. Because I am so full of regular Direct Orders, I don’t get a chance to work on the open queue much. Recently, I have also been added to six very active teams. I haven’t looked at Open Orders in more than two weeks.

Don’t Be Afraid to Diversify
If TextBroker doesn’t have work, don’t be afraid to have several writing sites open simultaneously. Like the adage goes, “Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.” I know I writer primarily about this specific website, but that’s only because of the amount of success I have had with the company. Keep your options open when developing your skills…you may find better opportunities available. However, you won’t find anything if you don’t possess motivation to succeed.

As long as you treat each client with respect and show professionalism in every order you complete, there is a good chance that you will land the same kind of regular work that I have found in the past two years. I have since quit my regular job and have been increasing my average income to well over $20,0000 per year – consistently. However, keep in mind that it took me two-and-a-half years to get to this point. You might do far better if you remain determined to succeed.
