On June 3, 2024, Sarah Burton will be joining me on After Hours to talk about re-launching her book and what she has planned for the future. Sarah writes a lot regarding the 90s child while touching on mental health.
Sarah also began writing as a way to cope with anxiety in middle school. Since then, she has put together some great pieces that you can find on her blog.
She’s also one of the first authors I’ll interview who actually uses her TikTok account. That’s something that I can’t say that I’ve done as of yet.
I really have nothing to say on the platform, I suppose.
A Little About Sarah Burton
Starting from a young age, Sarah used to write stories about herself and her friends. She then turned that passion into a reality while publishing her first book. And then re-releasing it later.
Sarah is a solid Mental Health Warrior. A lot of her writing and social media centers around various issues that people face and promote how you are not alone.
I still don’t think mental health is talked about enough, especially if you take into consideration my past. Still, I’m glad that so many of the artists and writers I have on the show are proponents of mental stability.
Following Sarah’s social posts on Threads is often uplifting.
Where Can You Find Her Books?
Currently, you can find the re-release of her debut novel, Cherry Trail on her blog. You can buy a signed paperback copy, which comes with its own customized bookmark.
You can also find Cherry Trail on Amazon for both Kindle Unlimited and paperback.
Stop By to Watch Us Live!
Make sure you stop by the live show on WriterSanctuary’s YouTube channel for the interview. We’ll be on at 7pm MTN (9pm EST / 6pm PST). Bring along your questions and let’s have a great evening.
I’d like to thank Sarah Burton for doing the show and look forward to chatting with her about her books and future installments.
