Marisa E Cardin on After Hours

An Evening with Marisa E. Cardin on After Hours

Last Updated on by Michael Brockbank

Watch us on August 12th on After Hours as Marisa E. Cardin joins me for a live interview. We’ll talk about her sci-fi and fantasy books as well as her World of Warcraft fanfiction. Bring your questions as it’s sure to be a great evening.

Marisa is a local author here in Denver and only fuels why I want to set up an actual studio to invite people in person. I’d love to have more local authors on the show!

In any event, she’ll join me on the WriterSanctuary’s YouTube channel live at 7:00 pm MTN. Huh…I think this is the first interview I’ve ever done where we were both in the same time zone.

A Little About Marisa Cardin

Marisa has been writing since the fifth grade, more interested in perfecting a creative writing assignment than going out to play. Since then, she attended Western Colorado University and Metropolitan State University for her BA in Creative Writing.

In high school, though, she spent a great deal of time writing a World of Warcraft fanfiction tale.

I’m tellin’ ya, fan fiction pieces are great for practice while letting you stretch your imagination. Never underestimate the value of writing about something of which you’re a fan. I have one for Star Trek and am working on one for Fallout.

Like many other authors, Marisa uses her books as a way to process real life. As I’ve said many times before, writing can be exceptionally therapeutic, even if you have no intention of publishing the story.

Where Can You Find Her Books?

You can find Marisa Cardin’s books available on Amazon including her debut series (The Shadow Runners) as well as her poetry collection. They’re all available on Kindle Unlimited while The Shadow Runners series is also available in paperback and hardcover.

Marisa also has books and themed bookmarks on her website if you’d like to own something more that is related to the series.

And if you’re in the Denver-Metro area, you’ll be able to meet Marisa Cardin in person at the Read Between the Stars book fair on October 20th, 2024. In fact, there is a good chance we’ll both be there.

Don’t Miss the Live Interview!

Join us live on August 12th at 7:00 pm MTN for Marisa’s interview. If you can’t attend the live show, you can always watch the replay at any time.

Thank you, Marisa. I’m looking forward to meeting you and discussing your books.
