12/15/2012 – Website Work and Writing

Last Updated on by Michael Brockbank

Today, I spent quite a bit of time prepping this website for more content.  I added a few more articles and have plans to develop more to help with blog posts, articles, product descriptions, and how to make money on all of them.  I did come across a website that pays people to write about products on their blogs, but I haven’t had a chance to delve into how it works.  It almost sounds like a scam of some kind to me.

Although Google hasn’t crawled the website for content yet, I added Adsense and Analytics to it anyway.  Adsense usually takes a few days before it starts posting relevant ads anyway and I’d rather get it out of the way before I start generating traffic.

I have a lot of ideas pending for this website.  I’m not simply posting how to write articles as a ghostwriter.  I found one of the best methods for me to learn something new is to write about them as I go.  For this website, I want to increase my grammar and writing abilities.  What better way than to understand comma usage than for me to write it as I go?  The site is going to cover all aspects of grammar, punctuations, and anything else I can learn along the way.

Currently, I am concentrating on how to get people started writing to make money using TextBroker and WriterAccess.  I have a few friends and family who are curious as to my extra $1000 per month lately and are in dire straits themselves.  As soon as I have enough content up on the site to help them get started, I’ll start covering the grammar articles.

Tomorrow, I am looking for more places that ghostwriters can get into that are like TextBroker and WriterAccess.  I’ve found a few places where you can post your freelance writing skills to help land a job, but they are more akin to Monster and LinkedIn.  I am looking specifically for sites that post orders in a pool for various writers to accept and write.  I am sure they are out there and I want them to be listed here.
